Test Post - Continued Blogger Problems

Ever since Blogger upgraded my site to the new blogger I have had problems. It takes multiple tries to publish and I get errors many of the times. I think it has to do with the category function, but I have not had time to try and fix it. I am very frustrated and will be moving the blog, but as you can see by my reduced posting rate, I've been too busy to attend to this. One solution is to post a fresh post. So here's hoping this works.

Hi Nancy,

FYI - I've tried to subscribe to the feed from your blog (via Bloglines), and for some reason the subscription is not picking up any of your new content.

Kind regards,

Nancy,

I've been using the new Blogger since January and have had not a single problem. I've never seen the sort of things you've described.

I also have had not a single problem with your feed.

Kevin

Nancy, I have had similar problems. Seems to be an issue with posted to self hosted domains and tags/catagories. if you add tags/catagories it republishes all the tag/catagory 'files' each time. Makes it VERY slow. Have toyed with letting google/blogger host the site (as you can now keep your domains), or like you just ditching it and moving platform altogether.

Scott, I think you nailed it. Moving to their hosting is an option, but I'd really prefer the whole kit and kaboodle on my server. So I think it will mean moving soon!

Nancy, nothing more frustrating than unreliable tools so good luck with the move. Meantime so you are aware I had to load your blog url a couple of times before your page displayed. You probably don't want to hear that!!

But checking in to tell you the Knowledge Tree article that flowed from our conversation about "valuing participation" is now live with your quote and acknowledgement. Your "the space between the tools where things happen’ was a key. Here's the link:

Article on "valuing participation" is still to emerge but in good time!! As always your assistance and insight sincerely appreciated.
