Gnomz.com - Create Your Own Comic

I'm a firm believer in the power of visuals in online communication so I was thrilled to find Beth's pointer to Gnomz.com. I liked the comic Beth created. I've run out of most of my creative juice at this point in the day, but I could not resist.

Hey that's pretty funny for low on creative juice ...

One thing I noticed with the gnomiz.com that I didn't like is that it was sort of sexist. Note the lack of women figures that are dressed in business attire versus skimpy action heroine attire or naked .... well, there was one nurse and queen - but heavy on the male icons.

Also, I would love to be able to create my own figures and put them in there or alter with photographs ...

I also found that JOTS post from Alan's blog too. He's in my reader now. Let's compare notes on jots - there are also two other services furl and one that I can't remember but starts with s and rhymes with furl.

I haven't had time to JOT yet, but it's on the agenda...

And as to sexist images on the gnomiz site... yup, I agree. You can make your own, but again, time was a cruel mistress!
